BOSTON (SHODFRIARS LANE) GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Lincolnshire town of Boston can boast 3 greyhound tracks in the past, the middle one of the 3 being on Shodfriars Lane at 0° 1' W 52° 58' N. The track held its inaugural meeting on 10th August 1932 and operated both under rules and as an independent track in its 7 year history.

Once the Second World War began the track closed in 1939 and it was to be a further 25 years before greyhound racing returned to Boston.
